Leela Thermal House

Leela Thermal House introduced a new kind of spa experience to Calgary — one that reimagines traditional hydrotherapy through privacy, design, and modern wellness. Opening in Fall 2025, Leela set out to create a sanctuary where guests could fully unwind in their own private thermal suite, complete with a sauna, cold plunge, shower, and personalized wellness station, with optional massage treatments to complete the ritual.

Bujou Studios partnered with Leela to shape the creative vision for launch — from spatial concept design to the development of a striking visual campaign that communicated the brand’s luxurious, minimal, and sensory identity. Every creative output was crafted to reflect Leela’s philosophy of intentional calm and elevated solitude.

What We Did

Our team produced the full creative direction and launch campaign production for Leela’s debut. We began with the concept design for the space, crafting a visual narrative that merged architectural serenity with functional wellness.

Once the physical concept was established, we collaborated closely with Leela’s internal marketing team to produce photo and video content that would define the spa’s brand world. Each asset was designed to translate the Leela experience — the warmth of cedar, the clarity of stone and water, the slow rhythm of breath — into visuals that evoked peace, presence, and refinement.

The resulting campaign rolled out across digital channels and media placements ahead of launch, positioning Leela as Calgary’s most anticipated wellness destination.

The Results

Leela’s visual identity and campaign rollout established the brand as a new benchmark in Calgary’s wellness space. The creative direction and production set the tone for all future brand assets and guest communications, successfully bridging architectural design and sensory marketing.

The launch captured immediate local attention, building strong pre-opening awareness and aligning Leela with a new generation of wellness-conscious clientele.
